SERVING ILLINOIS VETERANS SINCE 1920
Disabled American Veterans Department of Illinois is dedicated to empowering veterans and their families by helping them access earned benefits, transportation, advocacy, community resources and the support of local DAV chapters throughout Illinois.
WHO WE ARE
For more than a century, the Disabled American Veterans Department of Illinois has stood beside Illinois veterans and their families. Through a statewide network of local chapters, DAV Illinois helps veterans understand and access the benefits they earned through service while providing advocacy, transportation, community support and opportunities to stay connected.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to ensure Illinois veterans and their families receive the benefits, services and support they have earned through military service. We work to strengthen local DAV chapters, advocate for disabled veterans and connect veterans with resources that improve their lives and communities.
WHAT WE DO
SERVING VETERANS ACROSS ILLINOIS
TRANSPORTATION
Connecting veterans with transportation resources to help them reach VA medical appointments and other essential services.
CHAPTERS
Strengthening local DAV chapters across Illinois by providing guidance, resources and support that help them better serve veterans and their communities.
ADVOCACY
Supporting disabled veterans by advocating for their needs, connecting them with resources and helping ensure their voices are heard in their communities.

Helping veterans and their families understand and access the benefits and services they have earned through military service.
